Ms Wroshyr is waiting in a room about 20 feet long (east-west) by 10 feet wide (north-south), and brightly lit, at least compared to Ciri’s room. This room is not the room that Ms Wroshyr was mixing chemicals in earlier in the day as there are no tables and the door is on the east wall instead of the west. Along the north side of the counter, and at the very west end is an incomplete machine, with a large ring attached to it, about two meters in diameter.
As Ms Wroshyr waits, Ash pokes his head in.
Ash: Ms Wroshyr?
Ms Wroshyr: Come in.
The rest of the group trickles in after him, with Benjy and Brock both looking very nervous.

Refresh Scene()
Ash and company are all seated on randomly strewn objects, while Ms Wroshyr is standing next to a chalkboard, half-leaning on it.
Ms Wroshyr: A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, there existed people known as storysolvers. We don’t know much about them, but they were able to travel to fictional places.
Brock: Uh, that’s not possible…
Ms Wroshyr: But it happened. It’s been repeatedly verified.
Brock: Uh, if you say so…
Ms Wroshyr: And if they can get to fictional places, that means we can get there too. Originally, storysolvers used books and a device attached to their hand called a charm. We have books about Earth, but we don’t have a storysolver’s charm.
Suddenly, Max jumps up
Max: Hold on though. Didn’t someone at the Mauville planetarium say that Earth was real and like eight quadrillion miles away.
May: I thought it was in a different universe…
Ms Wroshyr: Children…
Ash and company all turn to look at Ciri’s aunt, who scratches her chin.
Ms Wroshyr: If it’s in another universe, it’s much further than that. You might be thinking parsecs, but that’s still a tad on the close side.
Ash: Well now I’m really confused.
Ms Wroshyr: Don’t be. It’s extremely simple. It’s both real and imaginary at the same time.
May: I still don’t understand…
Ciri: Basically it’s all real. If you leave the universe, you can go to "imaginary" places.
Ciri does air quotes before and after the word "imaginary". Her aunt lets out a long sigh.
Ms Wroshyr: That’s a gigantic oversimplification, but in effect, correct. Some of the storysolvers hypothesized that anything that everything that you could ever imagine actually exists somewhere.
Ash and company all stand dumbstruck at this news.
Ms Wroshyr: However this has yet to be proven. Sometimes the storysolvers would get to a place and discover that the place didn’t match the author’s imagination. Sometimes there were very big differences. And on top of that, there were some places which they just couldn’t seem to get to no matter how hard they tried.
Ms Wroshyr: Of course, whenever one has a lot of points, every scientist tries to draw a graph. In this case, it was a ten-dimensional map of where everything was. But to do this, they had to go the long way around instead of cutting through books. And can you guess what they did?
Benjy is now shivering.
Ms Wroshyr: They started tunneling through hyperspace. Of course, this undermined the stability of hyperspace, so the project was scrapped, but the tunnels still exist, and more than that, we might be able to use them to visit places like Earth.
Brock: But that could collapse the entire multiverse!
Ms Wroshyr: Yes, it could…
It’s now Brock’s turn to shiver.
Ms Wroshyr: However, we’re going to start small. Earth should be less that a meter away.
Benjy: How long were the storysolver’s tunnels?
Ms Wroshyr: I don’t know. But the story goes that they neglected to reinforce them, et cetera. I think they were light-years, but maybe it was only a few hundreds of miles. Anyway, not all of it has collapsed.
May: And you know because–
Max: She found one.
Ciri sighs.
Ms Wroshyr: Exactly.
Ciri: And here we go again…
Brock: So when you said that Fenyra is constantly on the brink of destruction.
Ms Wroshyr: Oh, no, I’ve only managed to almost destroy it like what–this will be the sixth time?
Brock collapses to his knees, looking sick.

Benjy, May, and Ciri are back in Ciri’s room, and the light is now off. May is in her sleeping bag on the floor, and Benjy is lying on the floor.
Ciri: So yes, she’s always trying to outdo the crazies of the last guy. That’s how mad scientists work.
Ciri rolls over so that she’s facing in Benjy’s direction.
Ciri: Can I just ask you one thing?
Benjy: What?
Ciri: I don’t know if you intend to ever wear that thing again, but…
Ciri trails off as the sound of the toilet flushing downstairs reverberates.
May: You going to do it? (sleep)
Benjy: My mind is fried. Lets wait until the morning.
Benjy now turns onto his side and falls asleep.
New Scene(@Temporal = Morning)
Benjy sits in one of the chairs in Ms Wroshyr’s living room, fiddling with the Millennium Gameboy Advance, and slides a lever on the side. Ciri, May, Max, and Ash all stand around him.
Benjy: Can you guys move back a bit.
Ciri, May, Max, and Ash all move backwards giving Benjy a little more room to maneuver. Nervously, Benjy flips a small switch on the side of the Millennium Gameboy Advance and it powers on. A poké-ball symbol appears in the upper screen and the words "Stand by ready" appear in the console.

Benjy now turns the Millennium Gameboy Advance around for the others to see, and Brock calls out from the Kitchen:
Brock’s voice: Breakfast in five minutes!
Max: It changed?
Benjy now turns the Millennium Gameboy Advance back around, and the words "Where am I?" are displayed on the upper screen.
Yami Benjy’s voice: Benjy.
Benjy jumps up, revealing a projection of himself, behind where he was, to QST.camera.
Benjy: Mia is it?
Yami Benjy: Huh?
Benjy: What Deep Blue called you…
Yami Benjy: I don’t remember that… I…
Ciri: Do you remember anything from your fight with Deep Blue?
The projection shutters.
Yami Benjy: Of course. By the end though… My focus was fading.
Ash: So what exactly is the relationship between you two?
Yami Benjy: I don’t know.
Ciri, May, and Max now press closer to Yami Benjy.
Yami Benjy: I don’t know anything about Deep Blue. I don’t believe I’ve ever met him. But something told me…
Ciri now pulls back.
Ciri: Dren had a hypothesis that you were created to stop Deep Blue…
Yami Benjy: Then what was I doing on Earth…?
Benjy: You could have fallen through the cracks in spacetime.
Yami Benjy: That’s all very possible. But why then do I know nothing about him?
Max: If some of you data got corrupted…
Yami Benjy: Benjy, what did you say he called me?
Benjy: I didn’t catch it completely, it was something like Mia or Maria.
Yami Benjy appears to ponder this.
Yami Benjy: So we must have met before… At some point…
Yami Benjy trails off, and the others turn around to see Brock in the doorway.
Brock: Breakfast everyone.
Brock disappears into the kitchen, and the rest of Ash and company follow him and join Ms Wroshyr, sitting around the table where there are pancakes and some fruits, as well as pot of tea. All quickly start to eat, except for Benjy who seems cautious, as usual.
Ms Wroshyr: Seriously Ciri, why can’t you cook like this?
Ciri: I’m not your maid you know.
Ms Wroshyr: But you are a girl, aren’t you?
Brock: You know, I’d say this is sexist, but aren’t you a woman, also?
Max: Technically, she identifies as non-binary.
Ms Wroshyr: I’m an engineer.
Benjy: This might be the most incredulous situation I’ve ever encountered.
Ciri pours herself a small cup of tea.
Ciri: As dictated by the law of cycles, every tea party must have a mad hatter.
Benjy: I didn’t know you guys had access to Alice in Wonderland.
Ciri: What’s that?
Benjy: It’s a book…
May: Ciri!
Ciri: EEK!
Ciri leaps up, suddenly realizing that her tea cup is overflowing all over the table. Ciri rushes towards the kitchen to get some towels, but trips over the leg of May’s chair and goes sprawling.
Ciri: (bleep)ing (bleep)!
Benjy starts to push away from the table to help Ciri, but Ciri stops him by saying:
Ciri: I’m okay.

Ciri is now wiping up her spill.
Ash: So what’s the plan for today?
Ciri: We’re going to have a little chat with Bridget and Zoey, and see what we can learn from them.
Max: So who first?
Ciri: It’s critical we go at the same time, so they don’t have time to exchange information.
This comment leaves the rest of Ash and company surprised.
Ciri: Ash and I will talk to Zoey, while you and Benjy go talk to Bridget.
May: What about me?
Brock: You need to register for the contest.
May: R-right.
Ash: How did you choose who goes with who?
Ciri: Um… I don’t want to talk about that right now.
Ash: Um, I didn’t mean–
Ciri has now finished wiping up the spill, and stands up with a determined twinkle in her eye.
Max: Should we synchronize our timing.
Ciri: Um… Don’t worry about that.
Max: That means she’s either thought about that or she hasn’t…

Ash and Ciri are walking on a sidewalk in Oldale past damaged buildings which are roped off with rolls of yellow tape. Pikachu walks by Ash’s heels.
Ash: So Ciri, what exactly are we doing?
Ciri: Just paying Zoey a visit. To answer your question from earlier, I chose the teams to deal with the worst case scenario.
Ash: And that would be?
Someone across the street waves to Ciri, and she waves back.
Ciri: We get into a fight. But I’m prepared this time.
Ash: With forbidden magic you mean?
Ciri: No. Now that we know the transformations run on anima, if there’s a problem I can deplete the anima rapidly and collapse the transformation.
Ash: But what about Benjy and Max?
Ciri: They all saw go head-to-head with Deep Blue. Really though, there shouldn’t be any trouble. I don’t know Zoey as well as I know Bridget, but there shouldn’t be any problem.
Ciri furrows her eyebrows as she says this.
Ash: Wow, you really thought this out…
Ciri suddenly blushes.
Ciri: I… I didn’t manage to fall asleep until late last night. Zoey’s house is this way.
As Ash and Ciri get to an intersection, they turn the corner to the left instead of crossing the street.

Benjy and Max are walking along the other side of Oldale with Max holding the pokénav out so he can constantly check their location. Jirachi and Satolite float and fly behind their trainers.
Max: Let em see, let me see…
A red dot pulses on the pokénav.
Max: Been a while since I’ve been to her house.
Benjy: How much further?
Max: Just a couple blocks if I remember correctly.
Benjy: Do you have any questions ready?
Max: I think I’m going to start by asking how she transformed.
Benjy: I think it was powered by the mew aqua.
Max: So what are you going to ask her, smarty-pants.
Benjy: How she found out about the mew aqua. Lets follow the path to the source.
Max: And if that path has another fight on it?
Benjy: Then we get a little training in as well. I don’t get the impression that Bridget is the type that’s going to fight us.
Max: Well, she and Ciri were pretty close.
Benjy: You suspect brainwashing?
Max’s glasses sparkle.
Max: You’re starting to sound like Ciri, always thinking about the worst-case scenarios. This way.
Max gestures down a culdesack, and he and Benjy turn the corner. Jirachi announces that it’s sleepy, and Satolite grabs it to prevent it from falling. Satolite now lands on Max’s backpack and deposits Jirachi. Max now points out Bridget’s house to Benjy.

Benjy and Max walk up the cement path to Bridget’s front door. Her garden has a simple lawn with some plants and bushes near the sidewalk. Satolite flies behind Benjy and Max as they walk up to her porch.
Benjy: I don’t know why you’re so nervous, it’s just your friend…
Max: Then why don’t you ring the doorbell while I go hide in the yard?
Benjy: Because I don’t know her anywhere near as well as you do.
Benjy and Max have reached the porch.
Max: Except that obviously something has happened to her.
Benjy: But Ciri said that her personality was more or less the same…
Max: As far as she could tell.
At this moment, Benjy and Max flinch as a green-haired woman opens the door.
Woman: Hello? Can I help you?
Benjy: Uh… Um…
Woman: Take your time, it’s okay.
Benjy takes a deep breath.
Max: Is Bridget home?
Woman: You’re Max right? May’s little sister–I mean brother.
Max: Yes. Is she home?
Woman: She should be. Who are you?
The green haired woman looks at Benjy, who is still trying to find the right words.
Woman: It’s okay. Take your time.
Max: He’s a friend of Ciri’s.
Benjy: Excuse me, excuse me.
Benjy takes another breath.
Benjy: We just had a few questions about what happened last evening–I mean the day before yesterday.
Woman: Well, you’re more than welcome. She won’t tell me anything about what she was up to.
Max and Benjy look at each other nervously.
Max: Uh, should we tell her?
Benjy: Well since you said something, it would be rude not to.
Woman: If you really–
Benjy: I take it you’re her mother?
Woman ➟ Ms Verdant: Yes.
Benjy: Okay. Bridget appears to have obtained a pseudo-magical power. We were hoping to ask her how she got it.
Mss Verdant: Did you ask Ciri about it?
Max: Ciri sent us to ask her…
Mss Verdant now invites Benjy and Max inside the house, into a brightly-lit living room with the kitchen on the left and a staircase on the right. She asks Benjy his name, and Benjy tells her.
Mss Verdant: So before I call her down, can you tell me what kind of power?
Benjy: Something anima-powered.
Max: Really though, that’s what we’re hoping to figure out.
Mss Verdant: Wow.
Mss Verdant now walks to the edge of the stairs and calls up:
Mss Verdant: Bridget! You have visitors!
At first there is no reply, so Mss Verdant calls again.
Mss Verdant: Bridget! There are people here to see you!
Bridget’s Voice: Hold on! I need five minutes.
Footsteps can be heard upstairs as Bridget dashes around. Benjy shakes nervously. Mss Verdant now turns to Benjy and Max
Mss Verdant: So can you describe this anima-based power?
QST.camera now shifts up the stairs to where Bridget is staring down at Benjy, Max, and her mother.
Benjy: That’s tricky…
Bridget: Are those the people from two nights ago? How did they find out where I live?
Bridget quickly pulls away from the stairs.
Bridget: Unless it was through Ciri…
Bridget now darts into her bedroom where she picks up her mew jewel.
Bridget: I’m going to have to confront them at some point.
Mss Verdant: Bridget? Are you coming?
Bridget: Zark it!
Bridget: Coming!
Bridget attaches the mew jewel to her shirt and comes rushing down the stairs, her hair not finished drying. As she descends, Benjy, Max, and her mother look up at her.
Bridget: Who are they?
Bridget now descends to the ground.
Bridget: Um… Do I know you?
Mss Verdant: Bridget, they said you have magical powers, is that true?
Bridget: I don’t know what you’re talking about. Who are you?
Mss Verdant: You remember May’s little brother Max, right?
Max flinches as Mss Verdant refers to him this way.
Mss Verdant: And this is Benjy, he’s another friend of Ciri’s.
Bridget: So that’s who’s behind it… I forgot Ciri was there.
Bridget: I… I still don’t know what you’re talking about… You think I have magical powers.
Max: We saw you do this weird transformation thing, when we were all fighting against Deep Blue–
Mss Verdant: Bridget, you got into a fight?!
Bridget puts her finger to her lips.
Bridget: A little one…it’s nothing mom. Can you leave us for a few minutes?
Mss Verdant agrees, and goes off into the kitchen.
Bridget: Come on, we’ll talk more outside.
Benjy and Max now follow Bridget outside into the back yard, with Satolite still flying behind Benjy. As soon as all are outside, Bridget starts backing up towards the middle of her back lawn.
Max: So Bridget…
Bridget: What do you know?
Max: What do I know?
Bridget: About Team Mew!
Max: Well, Dren told us about.
Max’s mentioning of Dren appears to make Bridget upset.
Benjy: Max–
Max turns to Benjy.
Benjy: We saw you transform. How did you do that?
Bridget: I remember now. This guy was the one who beat Deep Blue! So how does he not know about…?
Max: Yeah, we wanted to know how–
Bridget: Like this!

Bridget’s mother watches the transformation from the kitchen, and stares dumbfounded at Mew Bridget. QST.camera shifts to Benjy and Max.
Max: Yeah, how did you do–
Bridget: I don’t know what you’re up to, but you won’t succeed. You hear me?!
Max: We just wanted to know–
Bridget starts to go through her attack pattern.
Bridget: Tidal wave–
Yami Benjy: Let me handle this!
Benjy: I can’t do that! You’d probably kill her!
Yami Benjy: Uh–
Bridget: Rush!
Satolite: Caw!
Bridget shoots her attack at Benjy, Max, and Satolite, but Satolite zips in the way, creating a barrier around it. Bridget’s attack strikes this barrier and is reflected back at her, where it forces her to take a few steps backwards to keep her balance. Satolite now sparks at Bridget defensively. Benjy now takes off the Millennium Gameboy Advance and hands it to Max.
Max: What are you doing?
Max accepts the Millennium Gameboy Advance, curiously.
Benjy: Up to what? (confused)
Max: We just wanted to know where you got your power and how it works.
Bridget: I don’t believe that!
Benjy: Let me handle this. (To Satolite)
Satolite sparks.
Benjy: Ciri’s a bit concerned about why you got your–
Bridget now uses her water attack on Benjy, but it doesn’t seem to do much to him. Suddenly, the back door opens:
Mss Verdant: Bridget, what are you going?! (upset)
Bridget: Get inside!
Mss Verdant stands in the doorway, confused.
Bridget: I said get inside!
Mss Verdant: Bridget, would you please calm down?! They aren’t…
Benjy: That Deep Blue guy nearly leveled the city… We just want to know what’s going on…
Bridget: Well, it’s none of your business!
Bridget leaps backwards with an human leap.
Bridget: Tidal wave rush!
Mss Verdant gasps as the water strikes Benjy again, but isn’t very effective.
Bridget: Mew punch!
As Benjy shakes off the water, Bridget charges towards him and attempts to strike him.
Max: Benjy!
Benjy can’t move aside in time, despite Max’s warning and Bridget strikes him in the chest, which causes Benjy to flinch, but for a split-second appears to stun Bridget. Suddenly Bridget’s mew transformation dissolves, leaving her stunned. Bridget quickly regains her state of mind, and jumps away, activating her mew jewel again.

Bridget: Take this!
Bridget charges at Benjy again attempting another punch. Benjy tries to dodge, but Bridget strikes his arm, and as she does her transformation dissolves, confusing her. Before anything else can happen, Bridget’s mother rushes to her side and grabs her.
Mss Verdant: What are you going?!
Bridget: Someone must have sent them to–
Max: Ciri sent us!
Mss Verdant turns to Benjy, who doesn’t seem badly injured.
Benjy: Uh… I’m ok.
Bridget: Someone must have sent them to get–
Mss Verdant: Bridget! Listen to them!
Max: Bridget, Ciri sent us! She’s just trying to figure out what’s going on!
Bridget: But what about Dren? (worried)
Refresh Scene()
Benjy, Max, Bridget, and Mss Verdant are sitting around a table in Bridget’s backyard. Something chirps in the distance.
Mss Verdant: It sounds like his heart was wavering…
Max: Well, Maybe. But yeah, Dren told us about you and Deep Blue.
Bridget: I see. Even he was beginning to sense something was wrong.
Benjy: He knew about Zoey, and then Ciri put two and two together and realized it was you.
Bridget: It’s just not like Ciri to charge into battle like that.
Bridget shrugs.
Bridget: But who knows.
Max: But how did you obtain that power?
Bridget: I don’t know. It… I just discovered I had it one day.
Mss Verdant: Something must’ve happened to you that you weren’t aware of. People don’t suddenly obtain these kinds of abilities overnight.
Bridget: Well, I don’t know how I got this ability.
Mss Verdant: Well, then lets work backwards.
Bridget: Hold on. Let… I want to talk to Ciri first.
Max: I’ll call her.
Max pulls out his pokénav.
Max: Oh, she sent me a message.
Bridget: She did?
Max: Hmm. It says…
Max touches the message icon.
Max: Zoey’s in trouble.
Benjy and Bridget both look up, worried.
Max: In the process of turning into a cat… What? Something about a café?
Max’s pokénav beeps again.
Max: Another message, she must have just sent this.
Max quickly opens the message.
Max: Can’t walk. Can pick up anything. Trouble breathing.
Max’s pokénav beeps again, and he opens the next message.
Max: She says she’s forcing magical respiration. Zoey keeps talking about a Mew Café. Please check it out and prepare to fight.
Benjy: ?
Bridget: It’s happening again…
Mss Verdant: Bridget, what’s going on.
Bridget jumps up.
Bridget: I’ll you about this later. Please, just trust me…
With this Bridget runs into the house.
Benjy: Uh… We should probably go to.
Mss Verdant: Be careful.
Benjy and Max nod, then take off after Bridget.
Mss Verdant: Please be safe…
New Scene()
Zoey is lying face-down in Ciri’s arms in her front yard. The front door of her house appears to be blown in, and a man is lying face-up unconscious just inside the door. Zoey’s arms and legs have transformed into a cat’s, and in addition to the ears and the tail of her mew form, Zoey now has whiskers. Zoey coughs desperately for air.
Ash: Are you sure she’ll be alright?
Ciri: It’s an industrial strength breathing spell, so it will reconfigure her insides if that’s what it takes.
With a final hacking cough, Zoey coughs up a giant hairball onto Ciri’s shoe.
Ash: It doesn’t make any sense though.
Croconaw comes out of the house.
Croconaw: Croc!
Ciri: Her mother’s starting to wake up. Take care of her.
Ash: Got it!
Ash rushes into the house while Pikachu jumps next to the man. QST.camera then zips after Ash, around the corner into the kitchen, where Zoey’s mother is getting to her feet.
Ash: Are you still…?
Zoey’s Mother: I just want to chop into little pieces! Is that to much to ask?!
Ash: It really is…
Zoey’s Mother: I just want to chop! Cut! Your blood! It would make such a gourmet treat! (crazy)
Ash backs up, grabbing a knife from the counter.
Zoey’s Mother: That’s my knife!
Zoey’s mother lunges at Ash, but Ciri’s Flygon smacks her upside the head with it’s tail, sending her crashing into the open dishwasher. Zoey’s mother looks at her blood, which oozes from her back from the impact.
Zoey’s Mother: Blood…
Suddenly Zoey’s mother bites into her own arm.
Zoey’s Mother: I love blood!
Ash shivers and drops the knife, starting to feel faint. Zoey’s mother now makes a b-line for the knife, but before she can reach it, Ash kicks it away, under the refrigerator.
Zoey’s Mother: Give me blood!
Ash backs away, but Zoey’s mother tries to attack him again. Ciri’s Flygon once again smashes Zoey’s blood-crazed mother away, onto the kitchen floor where she was originally lying. However she is now surrounded with a slowly-growing pool of her own blood.
Ash: What the zark is going on with her.
Ciri’s voice: Ash! Lets get out of here!
Ash: You don’t have to tell me twice!
QST.camera follows Ash as he bolts from the house to where Ciri is, with Flygon following him. Ciri is still holding Zoey, now turned face-up.
Ciri: I told Max and Benjy to check out that cafe that she kept mentioning. We need to go too.
Ash takes a quick look around.
Ash: Agreed.
Ash recalls Croconaw and Ciri recalls Flygon, and both start walking down the garden path, however Ciri can’t go very fast due to carrying Zoey. Pikachu runs up to Ash as they walk with Ciri in front.
Zoey’s Father: Just where do you think you’re going? (not upset, just creepy)
Ash turns around just as Zoey’s father, who is now getting to his feet. Zoey’s father grabs a chainsaw that was lying right next to him, and powers it on. At the noise, Ciri turns around as she makes her way out of the garden gate.
Ciri: What?
Ash: Pikachu, thunder!
Pikachu sparks as Zoey’s father revs up the chainsaw, then as Zoey’s father takes a step off the porch, Pikachu shoots a powerful electric attack at him while Ciri exits the garden.
Zoey’s Father: Ain’t gonna work this time!
Suddenly, a magic circle appears in front of Ciri’s father and appears to reflect the charge back at Ash and Pikachu. Pikachu counters with another charge, and the two charges collide in an explosion, which blows out all of Zoey’s front windows. Zoey’s father quickly becomes visible through the dust and debris as he slams the chainsaw down at Ash. Ash leaps out of the way, before he and Pikachu dart through the garden gate.

Ciri is moving towards her house as fast as she can.
Zoey: Cafe… other… way–nya!
Ciri: Right now we’re just trying to get to safety.
Ash now calls out from behind Ciri.
Ash: Ciri, you need to hurry! He’s–
Ciri: Just zap him!
Ash: Using magic!
Ciri gulps and tries to run faster, but can’t due to carrying Zoey.
Zoey’s Father: You’re not leaving alive!
Ciri cringes and looks around, before tossing Zoey to Ash which startles both of them. Despite this, Ash manages to catch Zoey as Ciri pulls out Sir Aaron’s scepter.
Ciri: Get out of here! I’ll take him!
Ash: Uh–
Ciri: Now!
Ash takes off running while Zoey’s father wields his chainsaw malevolently.
Zoey’s Father: So you’re first in the grinder…
Ciri: Just as I thought, he doesn’t care one bit about Zoey… I’ll deal with why later.
Zoey’s father revs his chainsaw and charges toward Ciri.
Ciri: Zimpus!
Ciri shoots a bolt of energy from the scepter, but Zoey’s father swings his chainsaw at the blast, catching it on the chainsaw before throwing it back at Ciri.
Ciri: Limosi–
Before Ciri can finish the spell, she is struck by the reflected attack and thrown backwards onto the concrete where she goes sprawling. Ash is now about 15 yards away.
Ash: Ciri!
Ciri: This is nothing!
Zoey’s father runs towards Ciri, holding his chainsaw, as if to saw her in two, and suddenly the ground under Ciri appears to explode, which halts Zoey’s father’s charge, as well blasting Ciri back to her feet.
Ciri: I’m just getting started, mother(bleep)!
Zoey and Ciri’s father face off, then the latter suddenly rushes the prior, chainsaw sparking with magic. Ciri adjusts her footing, and suddenly as Zoey’s father swings his chainsaw, but a yellow barrier appears around Ciri. The chainsaw crashes into the barrier while Zoey’s father wears a crazed expression on his face.
Zoey’s Father: You think you can protect yourself little girl?! YOUR HEAD IS MINE!
Zoey’s father makes the chainsaw saw faster, but it still can’t cut through the barrier. Ciri wears a an expression showing her concentration, before Zoey’s father suddenly raises the chainsaw over his head.
Zoey’s Father: I WILL HAVE BLOOD, GUTS, AND–
Zoey’s father starts to bring the chainsaw down against the barrier again, but before he can.
Bridget: Tsunami buster!
A powerful blast of water strikes Zoey’s father, knocking him away from Ciri, and knocking the chainsaw out of his hand. Zoey’s father crashes onto his back about five yards from Ciri, and the chainsaw falls right behind him, sticking into the ground. Bridget now runs up to Ciri.
Bridget: Ciri!
Ciri: Bridget…
Bridget: What’s going on?
Ciri: We went to Zoey’s house and knocked on the door. Both her parents were there and–
Zoey’s father now starts to get up.
Ciri: They declared war and attacked us!
Bridget: Just like that?!
Ciri: M-hm.
Zoey’s father has now gotten to his feet, and rips the chainsaw out of the ground swinging it around over his head.
Zoey’s Father: Two on one…
Zoey’s father starts cackling maniacally.
Bridget: Like we used to?
Ciri: Got a feeling that the classic won’t work on him
Zoey’s father now comes charging towards the girls, who both leap out of the way, in opposite directions while the chainsaw pulses with magic.
Bridget: Tidal wave rush!
Zoey’s father darts towards Bridget and prepares to leap into the air, but tidal wave rush strikes him and knocks him towards Ciri, so he changes target to her, and brings his chainsaw down on her. Ciri responds by grabbing it with her right hand, which is now glowing. This stops the chainsaw mid-saw, much to the surprise of Zoey’s father.
Ciri’s arm starts to glow, and in one fluid motion tosses the chainsaw over her head. Zoey’s father doesn’t let go, and is pulled along with it into the air in an arc that would have him land about 10 yards from Ciri, but Bridget hits him with another tsunami buster, knocking him backwards another five yards and slamming him into the ground in a ball of steam. Bridget walks up to Ciri as both girls eye Zoey’s father nervously.
As the steam clears, both are horrified as Zoey’s father gets to his feet again, and picks up the chainsaw as if nothing has happened. This time, Zoey’s father doesn’t charge, but shakes the chainsaw at them as if he’s shaking water off of it. Instead of water, magic blasts come off of it at Bridget and Ciri, who dodge repeatedly. Bridget leaps in the air to attack, but is suddenly struck in the ankle and at the same time Ciri is struck in the shoulder. Bridget falls down, and Zoey’s father, revving the chainsaw again, appears to extend the length of the saw with a magical energy blade and bring this blade down on Bridget.
Before he can get very far, something blocks the energy and causes it to shoot backwards towards the chainsaw, destroying the energy blade as Bridget looks around frantically.
Satolite: Crr!
Zoey’s Father: Yes, your head will also look lovely on my wall!
Zoey’s father starts to laugh again.
Yami Benjy: Bridget! Ciri!
Zoey’s father charges towards Bridget, but Ciri appears to uppercut the air, which causes a massive explosion to occur under Zoey’s father, sending him flying thirty feet into the air.
Yami Benjy: Satolite!
In the blink of an eye, Satolite grabs Yami Benjy and flies him towards Zoey’s father, who prepares to attack both Satolite and Yami Benjy in mid-air. Before he can, Yami Benjy materializes the energy sword that he used to fight Deep Blue, then Satolite releases him, and in one fluid motion, Yami Benjy cuts the chainsaw in two with his sword, landing hard on his feet, which forces him to drop down onto one knee. Zoey’s father comes crashing down into the street, no longer conscious. Satolite quickly picks Zoey’s father up and deposits him on the sidewalk. The Eye of Anubis now fades from Yami Benjy’s forehead.
QST.camera shifts now to Ash and Zoey, watching the battle from thirty yards away.
Ciri: Ash, what are you doing?
Ash: She keeps saying, "Wrong way."
Bridget now runs over to Ash and Zoey, and Ciri, Benjy, and Max follow.
Bridget: Zoey!
Bridget falls silent upon seeing what’s happened to Zoey.
Benjy: Any idea of what’s going on?
Bridget: This was supposed to stop happening once we beat Deep Blue…
Bridget now explains that they need to get Zoey to their base, which is known as the mew cafe. She invites, Ciri, Ash, Benjy, and Max to come with them, but the Millennium Gameboy Advance glows, and Yami Benjy says that they need to deal with Zoey’s dad. Ash and Ciri quickly explain what happened at Zoey’s house, Max leaves his pokénav with Benjy and Ash while she and Max go with Bridget, Ciri carrying Zoey. Ash immediately starts dialing…
Bridget: Alright, we’ll see–
Bridget is cut off by the sirens of a police van, which comes zipping around the corner, sirens blaring and lights flashing.
Bridget: Wow, they’re fast.
Ash: But I didn’t even–
The police van now screeches to a stop and a pair of identical Officer Jennys get out.
Officer Jenny: Thanks kids, we’ll take it from here.
Both Officer Jenny pick up Zoey’s unconscious father, and hurry over to the back of their van where they toss him inside, before closing it and get back in the van, driving off with sirens blaring.
Max: What the…
Yami Benjy: Something’s rotten…
Ciri: But right now, Zoey takes priority.
Yami Benjy: Agreed.
New Scene()
Both Officer Jennys drive through Oldale, having now turned their sirens off. As they drive, Zoey’s father pokes his head out of the back.
Zoey’s Father: This is agent X-green, reporting in.
Officer JennyDriver: What happened agent? We saw you get knocked out, so we sent a pair of units.
Zoey’s Father: It’s complicated. Lets talk in person.
Officer JennyDriver: Okay, I’ll set the program to take you to base.
Zoey’s Father: I have to wonder if these hacked police-bots really fool anybody…

Ash, Benjy, Bridget, Ciri, and Max are all heading to the Mew Café, with Ciri carrying Zoey. Bridget is in her mew form, and doesn’t seem to be paying attention to what other people think of this. Pikachu rides on Satolite, flying behind them.
Ash: I just worry that when we get there we’re going to have another fight waiting for us.
Bridget: That won’t happen, they’re nice people.
Benjy: Unless they’ve turned, like Zoey’s parents…
Ciri: Then we just have to kick their (bleep)
Zoey stares forwards, catatonic in Ciri’s arms as everyone crosses the street to the park next to the Mew cafe.
Zoey: Meow?
Bridget: Hold on, it’s just a little further. Ciri, I’ll run ahead and let them know.
Ciri nods, and Bridget takes off. QST.camera follows her as she darts through the park, towards the Mew Cafe, which looks identical to the way it did in Tokyo Mew Mew, and attempts to open the door, only to find it locked. Looking around frantically, Bridget pounds on the door.
Bridget: Elliot! Elliot!

Inside the Mew Cafe, Elliot groggily wakes up in his pajamas, looking around. He slowly realizes that someone is at the door, then quickly grabs his clothes.
Revert Scene()
Bridget stops pounding as Elliot comes running to the door, and quickly unlocks it.
Elliot: Bridget! What brings you here on a–
Bridget: Zoey’s in trouble!
Elliot: What’s happening…
Bridget: Her transformation is–
Elliot suddenly looks horrified.
Elliot: But that should have stopped when Deep Blue was defeated!
Bridget: But it didn’t! It’s really bad now!
Elliot: Where is she?
Bridget: A friend of mine is carrying her…
New Scene()
Ash, Benjy, Ciri, and Max continue through the park, with Zoey catatonic in Ciri’s arms. As they walk past a sand pit, along a path with trees on both sides, Bridget becomes visible in the distance with Elliot at her side running towards them. Elliot stops as he sees what’s happened to Zoey.
Elliot: Heavens to Murgatroyd…
Bridget: What do we do?
Elliot: I don’t know…
Refresh Scene()
Zoey lies on a park bench, still catatonic and almost motionless except for her tail twitching occasionally.
Elliot: I…
Bridget: Surely there’s something you can do?
Elliot: Her mew aqua levels are off the charts, so I don’t know what will happen if we bring her into the cafe, and what you told me about her parents is equally troubling. I wonder if the mew aqua is affecting them as well. At this point, I think the hospital is our only hope.
Bridget: If we call the ambulance, then you’d better run as fast as you can.
Ciri: Uh, Bridget why?
Bridget: Ciri! This is warping of a sentient life form. It’s an S-class felony!
Ash, Benjy, and Max all eye Elliot nervously.
Bridget: You’re going to get the death penalty!
Elliot cringes.
Elliot: Don’t worry about me.
Max: Unless they decide that Zoey can’t be saved and decide to–
Elliot: Zark it! Lets get her inside!
New Scene()
Ash holds open the door to the Mew Cafe so Elliot can carry Zoey inside.
Bridget: Where’s Wesley?
Elliot: He left town for the day, which means we’re on our own. This way.
Elliot leads the way past the tables and chairs up a small flight of stairs into a hallway, before making a right into a room full of computers and all sorts of machines. He puts Zoey down on a table for analysis, and runs over to a computer, before turning back to Zoey.
Elliot: Zoey, can you talk?
Zoey shakes her head.
Elliot: It looks as if the cat DNA is… But that shouldn’t be possible…
Max: Well, it obviously is! You’ve got to do–
Elliot: This doesn’t make sense. It looks on the surface as if the cat DNA is re-writing her normal DNA, but when I scan her I don’t see any change.
Ciri: Cat DNA? Excuse me?
Elliot: Zoey’s DNA is artificially infused with DNA from the Iromote Wildcat, as well as DNA from the pokémon Mew. The Mew DNA together allows the use of abilities similar to the pokémon Mew, and the Iromote DNA serves to refine the power. But when I scan her, the DNA is all normal, and she just has extremely high levels of mew aqua. I don’t understand it!
Bridget: Well you have to do something!
Elliot: I’ll have to improvise. Excuse me, Bridget–
Elliot rushes past Bridget, accidentally bumping into her and knocking her into Benjy. As soon as Bridget touches Benjy, her transformation instantly dissolves.
Ash: Hey… You just…
Elliot looks up from the cupboard.
Elliot: Sorry–
Ash: Bridget, you just…
Bridget looks at herself.
Bridget: What?
Max: Right when you touched Benjy…
Bridget: That’s what happened before too… When we were fighting… Every time I touched him–
Benjy moves back nervously. Zoey now starts hacking, as if she’s got another hairball.
Bridget: Zoey!
Ciri: I put an industrial-strength breathing spell on her. She’s not going to suf–
Elliot: Hold on.
Benjy, Ciri, Ash, Max, and Bridget turn to Elliot.
Elliot: You said that every time you touch him your transformation dissolves?
Ciri: Benjy! Quickly! Grab Zoey!
Benjy: Me?
Elliot: It’s our best bet. Go touch Zoey’s tail. Please!
Benjy shudders, then slowly approaches Zoey. Shuddering, Benjy reaches his hand out and touches Zoey’s tail. Immediately, but very slowly, Zoey’s tail starts to evaporate and shrivel.
Bridget: What’s going on?
Elliot: It’s a miracle. And it’s your friend’s special ability.
Ash: Special ability? Like Pikachu’s static?
Pikachu: Pika?
Elliot: Exactly. Just like pokémon, humans also have special abilities.
Max: Well, it doesn’t look like it’s doing much…
Ciri: He’s trying!
Benjy: Um…
Elliot: Because you’re not using it at full power.
